Updates...on Baby Masih #3

So, I still haven't figured how to crop my sonogram pics. I've had two more sonograms since my 9week one. Eventually, I'll get them all there!

In the meantime, I'll update you on some new developments. We are going to have baby #3 on Tuesday, December 23rd. The docs have pushed up the delivery date so I'll be delivering when I'm 38 weeks. I'll still be considered full-term at that point, so that is good. I'm going to Medical City Dallas at 5:30 am and the surgery is scheduled for 7:30am. I feel great for the most part, with only minor aches and discomforts. All in all, I feel very blessed. Things are very busy as far as work and home life goes, so naps are nearly out of the question. Getting up in the mornings are also increasingly difficult, especially since I have to get Josh and Bekah off to school and start getting ready for work, but I'm not complaining. :)

Well, that's it for the updates. Lord willing, when I have time to hijack one of my fellow bloggers, I will figure out how to crop my sonogram pics so I can download and send them to everyeone.

By the way, did I mention that we're not finding out the sex of the baby? This one is going to be a surprise!

Oh Baby!

Yep, it's true. Neel and I are expecting again. We are so thrilled and eagerly anticipating all the fun we're about to have...all over again. Joshua, who will turn 10 tomorrow and Rebekah, who is 7 & a 1/2 are definately the most excited. Rebekah has become my little stalker and follows me everywhere at home. She reads my pregnancy book more than I do and reminds me exactly how big the baby is every week. "Today the baby is the size of a large lime, Mommy!" This is going to be the most exciting pregnancy by far. Having older children at home, I have the advantage of involving them from the get go. They are even helping with laundry, dishes, and other chores. Hmmm...I wonder how long that will last?!

Here are some bits of info for you to keep up with:
We found out we were pregnant on Thursday night, May 1st
Told the kids about the "big news" on Sat. May 3rd
Told my parents & in-laws on Sun. May 4th
And since that time, the news has been spreading across the world--literally. Our family in India and England are all finding out our news!

Everything with the pregnancy is going well. I'm about 11 1/2 weeks along now and just about over my "morning sickness". My ob/gyn has bumped up my 12 week visit to tomorrow, June 24th since I became sick in India and needed a check-up. Oh, yea--I went to India for 2 weeks. But more about that trip on another blog. Our official due date is Jan. 5th or 6th 2008, but because I'll be having another c-section, they are making plans to delivery the baby about a week beforehand--making this one a New Year's Eve baby--maybe. We'll see how things go.

In the meantime, we just wanted to share the big news and let everyone know that we are all doing well. In my next blog, I'll show you a sonogram pic of the baby at 9 weeks.

So long!

Are we having fun yet???

So, I had to work from home today, on account of Rebekah getting a stomach bug. She woke up bright and early to "evacuate" everything in her little tummy. First from the top and later on from the bottom. Poor thing. After I got her to rest, I tried to do a little work. We recently learned how to check our work e-mail through webmail. I was excited that I didn't need my laptop--which is at the office--to check e-mail. Well, webmail is not working correctly. It continues to time out every 2 or 3 minutes, oftentimes in the middle of composing messages. So, once I gave up that effort, I decided to take a little nap. Upon waking, I discovered Bekah was burning up with fever and the water had been turned off! I gave Bekah motrin and promptly called the city to find out what was going on. I could see one of their trucks across the street from my house. When I got a representative on the line, they told me that it was some emergency and they had to shut off the water to the whole block. As soon as I hung up, one of the city workers came up to the door to announce it could be 3-4 hours before the "situation was under control". So, I've been washing everyone's hands with bottled water. Fancy. Now, to make everything perfect--I just discovered that the dinner plans we made with my sister-in-law--that I was debating to cancel for Bekah's sake--is actually in honor of yours truly. You see, my birthday is this Saturday and since we are going to be out of town, my sweet family wanted to throw me a little party. Well, I guess I can spray Rebekah down with lysol and still go.

Hey everyone! This is Cora Beth. Curissa and I are at church babysitting for Preparing for Battle and have 2 kids, so we decided to hijack Nita's blog! :-)

Now, I want EVERYONE comment on Nita's blog and to put a link on your blog! We need to spread the word, so she'll have a big fan base! :-)

This is so strange...

Wow. So, this is what's it's like to blog. It only took me an hour to find a title...but I finally came up with one that I think summarizes us: Life in a Trice. Go ahead. Look up "trice"; you know you want to. :)

Okay--so this blog will be used to share family happenings and pics at the Masih household so that I can keep in touch with all my friends and family--especially those far far away.

So let me begin by introducing you to the Fantastic Four: there's me; awesome hubby Neelesh; 9 yr. old Joshua; and 6-1/2 yr. old Rebekah. She's big on the "1/2" so I had to add that on there.

Well, that's all for my very first blog. Short and sweet. Stay tuned for future episodes!

Blessings,
Bhav
